The Hereford Photography Festival 2009

Now in its 19th year, Hereford Photography Festival is the only annual photography festival in the UK. The festivals aim is to bring photography to a wider audience and encourage a greater level of visual understanding through a year-round programme of events and an annual month long festival.

By combining exhibitions and commissions, workshops, innovative community projects and opportunities for debate on current issues, the festival aims to promote photography which raises questions about and comments upon cultural and social issues.
