I take photographs of a people-less world in which I focus on the evidence of people and their presence. I am interested in the psychology of the built
environment. Why do we make the world around us the way we do?

I use photography and digital media and although the final work is digitally manipulated it maintains a strong resemblance to its source.

Specifically my work centres on a physical or metaphorical boundary between one place and another. I tend to depict objects or places I have an emotional attachment to, either by revisiting the place I grew up, or a recent place or situation that might take me back to the past in some way.

Although there is a strong autobiographical element to my work I use common places and collective structure?s which allows me to lose myself within the crowd.
